Weekend Links

This week's links list is kind of long.. I've been saving them up for a while! Enjoy and happy weekend!

I'm always on the lookout for twaddle-free books. This is a great list from Simple Mom. Oldest is thoroughly enjoying Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile and George and Martha . And she loves all of the Frog and Toad books. (So do I!)

Summertime is wonderful, but along with it comes bumps, bruises, scrapes and slivers! My girls refuse to let us take slivers out most of the time. This post on how to remove them without needles or pain is a Godsend.

I just love Rachel Jankovic (her books Loving the Little Years & Fit to Burst are WONDERFUL) and this article is no different - Motherhood is a Calling.

I love this Bag of Tricks idea from Sally Clarkson. Why haven't I tried it yet?

This post about birth control is so informative and well-balanced--which can be difficult to find in the Christian community sometimes.

Kari Patterson is my new favorite blogger (and author ). This post on the Proverbs 31 woman doesn't disappoint.

I actually saw this post - My Child is Gifted.. - on the Afterthoughts blog and had to share it as well. Read it for a good laugh and/or a good sobering up about how to raise children.

I've really been enjoying Modern Mrs. Darcy lately. This post on discovering your coffee personality is quite interesting. I can't say it was enough to get me to break up with coffee, though. I just love coffee.

Again, Happy weekend, everyone!
